Detroit Area Clean Cities Logo

Detroit Area Clean Cities (DACC) is a Federal program designed to lower America’s dependence on foreign oil consumption. The portfolio of technologies that DACC looks to develop includes alternative fuels and vehicles, fuel blends, fuel economy, hybrids and idle reduction. With that in mind the logo solution needed to involve a general symbol of transfer of energy/energy use and that is where the gears come into play. The silhouette of the Detroit skyline proved to be a perfect backdrop for the gears and Detroit Area Clean Cities.
